Turning The Glass Around - Pack Lounge Series
Turning The Glass Around – Pack Lounge Series

I’ll be playing Philip in a reading of TURNING THE GLASS AROUND by Pia Wilson, for the Pack Lounge Series, NYC.

Here’s the formal press release:

We are pleased to announce Pack Member Pia Wilson will be presenting her new play Turning the Glass Around at this year’s first Lounge in a reading directed by Shelley Butler. The cast features Don Nguyen, Carmen Gill, Sevrin Anne Mason, Julian Stetkevych, Wai Ching Ho and Bonna Tek.

Philip, a Korean American man, loses his father and loses his job. His wife Daina spends her days dancing to Billie Holiday records and dealing with a poverty that is at odds with her privileged upbringing. Philip’s mother longs to return home to Korea. Philip’s doppelganger appears to him in an unusual way. Race, Love, and the American Dream collide in this new play.

Come have a complimentary glass of wine, hear the play and meet the artists at the reception after the reading.

November 16, 7PM. Free Admission.
New George’s “The Room”, 520 Eighth Avenue 3rd Floor.
